Chris Burge Ministries | Helping People Reach Their Divine Potential

Chris began teaching the Bible Study in 1993 out of his apartment on the Upper West side of Manhattan. The structure was informal and consisted primarily of a few friends getting together to read and discuss the Scriptures.

At the time, Chris was still at Salomon Brothers, and the study was simply an outlet to deepen his relationship with Christ.

Over the years, simply by word of mouth, the study grew to about 25 members when, in 1999, Chris left to attend Bible school; he continued to teach the studies whenever he was on break.

In 2001, to keep the study going, Chris appointed one of his students to teach. That appointment became a tremendous blessing, allowing the ministry to continue developing in his absence.

By 2002, when Chris returned to New York, the membership had grown to 75 people. And it continues to grow today.
